Medium peel

A medium peel is an advanced aesthetic treatment in which a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove superficial layers. This helps treat a variety of skin problems, such as wrinkles, acne scars, hyperpigmentation and textural irregularities.

The medium peel penetrates deeper into the skin than the superficial peel, but does not reach as deep as the deep peel. The chemical solution used is generally based on trichloroacetic acid (TCA) or similar agents. This treatment causes more exfoliation than a light peel, resulting in skin regeneration, which can lead to a more even, smoother complexion.

After a medium peel, there is often a recovery period of a few days to a week, during which the skin may peel, redden and be sensitive. It is essential to follow post-treatment care recommendations to avoid complications and achieve better results.

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a facial treatment that involves exfoliating the skin by removing dead cells and fine hairs (fluff) using a specially designed scalpel. This treatment smoothes the skin, brightens the complexion, and promotes better absorption of skincare products. In addition to giving the skin a softer, more luminous appearance, it can also make make-up more fluid and homogeneous.

The treatment in no way alters the structure of the hair follicle or the speed of hair growth. On the contrary, since hair grows back normally after dermaplaning, it will always be as fine as before.

In short, dermaplaning does not make hair grow thicker or more numerous. This is a temporary treatment, and hair will return to its usual appearance after a few weeks.

After treatment, the skin may be red, swollen and slightly sensitive for 48 hours, but patients can resume most of their normal activities the following day.
